About the role
In the position of unit manager for warehouse & logistics, you will have a central role in ensuring efficient warehouse and goods handling of assistive devices for our patients/customers. At the Assistive Devices Center, extensive development and change initiatives are underway, which will be an important focus for you to drive together with your team members. You will lead 11 warehouse workers who work with goods receiving, forklift operations, some assembly, and picking & packing. Transport matters will also be a central issue for you, as we have the goal of transitioning from contracted transport services to running transport operations in-house. This also means that staffing will likely increase within a few years.
Your main responsibilities include:
Monitoring the team's results and achieving set goals
Personnel and work environment
Driving change management, warehouse management/control, and efficiency improvements
The team's finances and budget work
Competency planning and competency development within the team
Building in-house transport operations
You report to the department manager and are part of the Assistive Devices Center's local management group together with 3 other managers, representing the management group in relation to all employees at the Assistive Devices Center in Borås. In the management group, you actively contribute to strategic work and work with a holistic view of the entire operation to achieve our goals and meet our customers' expectations. Regionally, you also collaborate with other unit managers and process leaders within the warehouse process. In addition to your manager and colleagues, you will have support from HR and financial resources to assist in your work.
The position is based at the Assistive Devices Center in Viared, just outside Borås. Day trips within the region occur regularly.

The Assistive Devices Center is a competence and logistics center for assistive devices in Borås, Mölndal, Skövde, and Uddevalla. Our over 300 employees provide healthcare, municipalities, and residents with assistive devices for mobility impairments, cognitive support and communication, as well as devices for medical treatment. We work with procurement, consultation and fitting, training, warehousing, transport, service and technical maintenance, and reuse.
In Borås, over 70 employees work with a strong focus on improving the efficiency of our processes.

About you
We are looking for someone who has:
Management or other supervisory experience
Experience working with warehouse flows/logistics
University degree, preferably in engineering/logistics, or other education that can be considered equivalent
Experience driving development work/change management
It is a merit if you have experience with transport matters
To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have a stable and present leadership style where you see each team member. You are clear and engaging in your communication and have the ability to create participation and trusting relationships with your team members. With a good holistic perspective, you drive development and change initiatives in close collaboration with others. You have a genuine interest in developing processes and work methods and work goal-oriented.
About the recruitment process
