Welcome to Försäkringskassan. We are seeking a unit manager for Archive Law within the Operations Support department. The department is responsible for information management, archives, scanning, general case handling support, procurement, office services, facilities management, physical security, and sustainability, and consists of approximately 450 people. Close Leadership, Development, and Cross-functional Collaboration As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to your employees and operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, with the public service values underpinning your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit. You also represent Försäkringskassan in external collaborations. Your unit consists of operations specialists and archivists who are responsible for leading and standardizing information management and archive issues within Försäkringskassan and provide expert support on complex information management matters at the agency. The unit also drives its own development within information management and digital preservation. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set, and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you support the area manager and participate in the area's management group, where you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence. The position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness when working for us.
