The IT Production Unit's mission is to deliver operations and maintenance of IT services to ensure the right technical infrastructure and expertise are in place, as well as to offer operational services to other government agencies in Sweden. Close-to-hand leadership, server platforms, sustainable workplace As a unit manager, you are the leader closest to your employees and operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on your department's mission and goals, guided by public sector values. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, monitor goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have both personnel responsibility and results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit. Your unit consists of 16 employees working with Windows and Linux servers, based in Sundsvall. The unit is responsible for the entire lifecycle of Windows and Linux servers, from planning, development, and operations to management and decommissioning. Through close-at-hand leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the objectives set by the department, and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you are a support to the area manager and participate in the area's management group consisting of 14 managers, where you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that enables employees to use their judgment and competence. The position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness. This is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility.
