As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, with the state's core values permeating your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.
Your unit consists of approximately 20 employees who work investigating entitlement to assistance compensation and are located in Stockholm, Eskilstuna, Nyköping, and Uppsala. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You foster understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set, and you develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you are a support to the area manager and you are part of the area's management group consisting of 8 unit managers, where you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that enables employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness.

Other information
One position, full-time, with start date by agreement. Probation may be applicable. Certain positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be hired for such a position, a passed security vetting according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
