We are now looking for a committed and confident unit manager for our family foster care in Skövde. About the position As a unit manager with us, you will be a central part of a team consisting of eight family foster care consultants. We work closely together to enable safe and inclusive environments for our children. The operation is conducted from our offices in both Skövde and Jönköping, and the role involves you leading the work with overall responsibility for personnel, finances, quality, and development at both locations. You are part of a strong management group for the family foster care region, where you receive support from the regional manager, regional quality developer, national recruiter, and regional operations manager and unit manager colleagues around the country. The role involves both strategic responsibility for the operation's development and present, coaching leadership in everyday work. Your main responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop your employees through present, attentive, and clear leadership built on trust. Have overall responsibility for the operation's quality, results, and goal achievement. Be responsible for personnel, work environment, and skills supply. Be responsible for budget, follow-up, and financial results. Drive development and improvement work in line with statutory requirements, agreements, and Humana's quality work. Ensure good collaboration with placing municipalities and other important partners. Who are you? We place great emphasis on your personal qualities as we are based on Humana's leadership profile. As the operation is subject to change, it is important that you have high adaptability and the ability to reprioritize when circumstances shift. You have very good communication skills, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and navigate confidently in complex collaborative relationships with a solution-oriented approach. For this position, you must have: Relevant university or college education (for example social work education or behavioral science education). Experience in leading and developing operations with personnel, finance, and operational responsibility. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as well as good computer skills. Category B driving license. It is also meritorious if you have: Experience leading teams through change and creating new, more efficient ways of working.
