Humana is now seeking an engaged and confident unit manager for our family foster care services in Örebro and Karlstad. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for an operation with high ambition levels, where quality, long-term sustainability, and the child's best interests are always at the center. About the position This is a permanent full-time position, but we apply a 6-month probationary period. As unit manager, you have full responsibility for the operation, including personnel, finances, quality, and development. You lead an engaged team consisting of 3 family foster care consultants in Karlstad and 2 family foster care consultants in Örebro. The unit's catchment area covers Örebro County and Värmland County. The role involves close collaboration with social services, foster families, and internal support functions. You are part of the management group for the family foster care region, which consists of 11 other unit managers around the country, a regional quality developer, a regional recruitment coordinator, a regional operations manager, an administrator, and a responsible regional manager. In your role as unit manager, you will, among other things: have overall responsibility for the operation's quality, results, and goal achievement lead, coach, and develop your employees through present and clear leadership be responsible for personnel, work environment, and competency supply be responsible for budget, monitoring, and financial results drive development and improvement work in line with legal requirements, agreements, and Humana's quality work ensure good collaboration with placing municipalities and other important partners Who are you?
