About the Job As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you oversee the whole picture, create conditions, and act consciously in your daily work. You are the manager of Corporate Taxation Unit 7 at the Corporate Taxation Department. The unit serves two target groups: associations and foundations, as well as excise taxes. Excise taxes are characterized by a rapid pace of change where taxes are continuously introduced, modified, or phased out. The unit participates in the entire chain from legislative proposals, implementation, handling, control and information initiatives, and court review. This department also includes corporate taxation and the Swedish Tax Agency's switchboard. You are part of the department's management group and report to the Department Manager. The unit has approximately 220 employees located in 9 places. You lead 11 section managers, and your position will be based in one of the locations where we have corporate taxation operations: Gothenburg, Ludvika, Mariestad, Malmö, Sundbyberg, Uppsala, Västervik, Västerås, or Örebro. Our operations are in constant development and change. We have a shared view of how leadership contributes to this, how we achieve results, and promote a culture of change. About You To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be responsive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In the work, good judgment and an understanding of legal certainty and security are important. You must also live up to our employee policy. In this job, you should: - Have the ability to see the whole picture with a focus on customer value - Have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission - Have the ability to act consciously in daily work based on good self-awareness - Be able to handle and analyze information flows, see connections, define scope, and communicate information - Have the ability to communicate clearly and create an environment where we listen to each other You should also have: - University education of 180 credits (120 credits) in economics or law - At least five years of current managerial experience within taxation operations Good to Know The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months. Within the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply managerial orders for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, without a limit on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with registry check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our work assignments in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
