Join us and make society possible! About the Role As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you take a holistic view, create the right conditions, and act deliberately in your daily work. You will be the manager of Corporate Taxation Unit 7 at the Corporate Taxation Department. The unit serves two target groups: associations and foundations, as well as excise taxes. Excise taxes are characterized by a rapid pace of change, with taxes continuously being introduced, modified, or phased out. The unit participates in the entire chain from legislative proposals, implementation, case handling, control and information initiatives, to court proceedings. The unit also manages corporate taxation and operates the Swedish Tax Agency's switchboard. You will be part of the department's management group and report to the department manager. The unit has approximately 220 employees located in 9 cities. You will lead 11 section managers, and your placement will be in one of the locations where we have corporate taxation operations: Gothenburg, Ludvika, Mariestad, Malmö, Sundbyberg, Uppsala, Västervik, Västerås, or Örebro. About You To perform well and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be responsive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this work, sound judgment and an understanding of legal certainty and security are important. You must also live up to our employee policy. In this role, you should: • Have the ability to see the big picture with a focus on customer value • Have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission • Have the ability to act deliberately in your daily work based on strong self-awareness • Be able to manage and analyze information flows, identify connections, set boundaries, and convey information • Have the ability to communicate clearly and create an environment where we listen to each other You should also have: • University degree of 180 credit points (120 points) in economics or law • At least five years of current management experience in taxation operations Good to Know The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months. At the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments of up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, without limit on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with register check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made.
