The Swedish Agency for Care Services (SiS) is an authority responsible for individualized compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also administers closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse throughout the country. At SiS, your working life becomes an exciting challenge. Regardless of where in our organization you work or what position you hold, you help create vital change. SiS LVM-home Lunden receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We receive clients who have mental health issues and clients who need medical care. We have operations in Lund. Job Description: As unit manager, you have overall personnel responsibility for the institution's night organization and the treatment staff that have hourly positions. Unlike other unit managers at the institution, you have no direct treatment responsibility for any specific unit. Instead, you are responsible for ensuring that the staff who make up the night organization and all our hourly employees are offered the right conditions to perform their work duties in a qualitative manner. Together with the institution's operations leaders, who are on duty at all times outside office hours, you plan and lead the work in the departments. You lead and drive unit work toward established goals and are responsible within your unit for work environment, personnel, budget, and operational development. You are part of the institution's management on-call rotation. Lunden's LVM-home consists of a total of 4 units with a mission to care for 30 clients. Lunden's mission also includes being able to receive clients with expanded care needs, i.e., women who have repeatedly subjected people in their surroundings to threats and violence or have self-harm behavior issues beyond their substance abuse problems. Lunden's LVM-home also has a specially reinforced unit where clients who, in addition to substance abuse problems, also have acting-out/serious self-harm and have shown difficulties being cared for with others. The clients cared for in this unit have a neuropsychiatric functional disability at the core, primarily autism, intellectual disability, or similar difficulties. At Fyrklövern, clients with psychosis issues can also be cared for. Qualifications: At SiS, we value good leadership. You should also have: Academic education of 180 credits in social and behavioral science, nursing science, or other specialization that the employer deems adequate for the position. Work experience: Documented management and leadership experience is required Knowledge: good ability to express yourself well, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish. You have knowledge of LVM care guidelines and relevant legislation Based on the complexity of the mission, great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
