JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The role involves a management assignment for the service unit with responsibility for the unit's operations, personnel, finances, and work environment tasks. You will have overall personnel responsibility for approximately 25 people distributed across four locations. The unit is responsible for: • Food production in three in-house kitchens (Pilgrimstad, Gällö, and Kälarne) where meals are prepared 7 days a week. • Food distribution from the production kitchens to SÄBO (special housing) and preschools. Food distribution takes place both in-house and through contracted services • Facility maintenance where responsibility includes maintenance of municipal facilities—both activity facilities and public stairwells and targeted interventions. Some facility maintenance is performed by in-house staff and some through contracted services. QUALIFICATIONS You have at minimum upper secondary education in a relevant field of operations. To succeed in this assignment, we believe you have at least two years of management experience with financial, personnel, and work environment responsibility for a larger operation. It is an advantage if you have some form of higher education or work experience that the employer deems relevant. Since the unit is relatively new, it is an advantage if you have been involved in startup processes or change management and if you have experience in one of the unit's areas of operation. You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing as well as good ability to express yourself in English. Who are you? You are someone who sees the bigger picture and connections and has the ability to prioritize and structure. We place great emphasis on personal leadership qualities and value previous management experience highly. You have a valid Class B driver's license. Employment type: Permanent employment.
