Description The management area currently includes the Family Treatment Unit, the Addiction Center, the Field Unit, Family Counseling, and part of the Family Center. In total, there are 24 employees and one senior treatment coordinator who are part of the Family Treatment Unit. The work groups are physically located in different places. As unit manager for the area, you are part of the management team for Individual and Family Care where the overall picture of the activities in relation to the rest of the municipality is an important focus area. The Social Services is in a process of transitioning to new legislation in several areas. This means that both the activities and the management role may change over time. Duties As unit manager for open services, you are an employer, business representative, and leader. The role includes: • being clear in management, governance, and communication • ensuring that the unit's goals are met by developing activities in line with the goals • creating conditions for collaboration and dialogue both within and outside your own organization • providing conditions for employees to do good work by inspiring and motivating development • together with other managers, being responsible for promoting the development of the entire operation to meet the needs of the external environment and the unit's mission As unit manager, you are part of the operation's management team and have responsibility for personnel, work environment, budget, and operations. You are also responsible for the unit's quality work. You are responsible for, together with the unit's and operation's employees, creating working methods that promote continuous development and improvement of the operation. You lead the unit based on a trust-based approach and focus on creating results that benefit Bollnäs Municipality's citizens. Great commitment to the management assignment and good leadership. Qualifications A degree in social work or another academic degree that the employer deems equivalent. 5 years of experience from the field. Training in change management or experience in leading change work. You must have very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. Driving license category B It is meritorious if you have completed leadership training or previously worked as a manager and leader. It is also meritorious to have experience in treatment work. You need to be a confident and clear leader with a good ability to create and develop relationships. You need to collaborate well with employees, management colleagues, and support functions to achieve common goals. You take responsibility for your assignment, can set boundaries, make necessary decisions, and work to ensure that the operation continuously develops based on the needs of Bollnäs Municipality's residents. Personal suitability is important for the assignment.
