The position is located within the Social Administration, operational area Individual and Family Services (VO IFO). Within VO IFO are the Work Life Center, the Assistance Unit, IFO authority, as well as open care and early intervention. As a unit manager, you report to the operations manager IFO and are part of the operational area's management group. There you contribute both with responsibility for your own unit and with a holistic perspective on IFO's mission. In a small organization, management becomes close and meaningful. DUTIES Your management assignment You have responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances, as well as responsibility for quality and results. You lead daily operations while simultaneously creating direction and long-term focus on operational development. The work includes, among other things: • Create clear priorities, roles, and ways of working. • Coach and support employees individually and in groups and create conditions for learning. • Conduct systematic work environment work. • Set goals, monitor quality and results, and drive systematic improvement and development work. • Manage finances and resource use. • Ensure a lawful and knowledge-based operation with the child's and the individual's needs at the center. • Build sustainable collaboration with authority operations, schools, healthcare, police, civil society, and other relevant actors. The assignment also includes being responsible for the supportive housing and representing the operation in relevant local collaboration forums. The operation you lead The unit consists of 15 employees with different professions and expertise. The operation provides open care support and early intervention to children, young people, parents, and adults and includes, among other things: • Family treatment, parenting support, and home-based interventions for children and families. • Early and coordinated interventions together with preschools and schools, including Grow Safe and school social teams. • Support and treatment for harmful use and addiction. • Support for people exposed to violence in close relationships and interventions for perpetrators of violence. • Residential support and other interventions for people with mental disabilities and comorbidities. • Supportive housing and early and easily accessible interventions. The operation has high expertise and strong commitment to target groups and is in an ongoing development and improvement phase. You get a central role in further strengthening stability, trust, and clarity, as well as leading continued development and change work. QUALIFICATIONS Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who is confident, courageous, and stable in your leadership. You are skilled at creating trusting relationships. You listen, involve, and utilize employees' expertise and stand firmly in your management role. Through a coaching and development-oriented approach, you set direction, make decisions, and follow up. The breadth of the assignment requires that you can alternate between operational presence and strategic work. We do not expect you to know everything from the beginning, but you need the ability and strategies to orient yourself, gather relevant knowledge, and apply it to the operation. Requirements • Bachelor's degree from higher education that the employer deems relevant for the position. • Previous management and leadership experience. • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. • Class B driver's license. Meritorious • Experience in change management and development work. • Experience in open care within children and families, harmful use and addiction, violence in close relationships, or social psychiatry and residential support. • Experience in systematic quality work, process-oriented ways of working, and monitoring of quality and results.
