About the Position
We are part of Individual and Family Services and are included in the Adult Sector for substance abuse, dropouts, social psychiatry, and the unit against violence.

Your role will be an important part of the continued development together with a management team that is responsible, forward-thinking, and characterized by an open collaborative climate. The sector's overall responsibility with both authority functions and own operations provides good collaboration benefits, shorter and simpler decision-making processes, and an opportunity to easily "shift" based on the needs of the target group.
We are located in Huddinge Center, and it is easy to get there by public transportation. Work groups are currently located in Flemingsberg and Trångsund.
In your role as unit manager, you will be responsible for our housing support and Housing First. The total staff strength is 27 people, of which 3 are group leaders. The position includes responsibility for personnel, operations, working environment, and finances. As a manager in Huddinge Municipality, you are a role model based on the municipality's shared values. You actively drive change and development work and create understanding and commitment for what needs to be implemented. Your leadership promotes an open collaborative climate, participation in work, and you ensure that good ideas are utilized. As a unit manager, you work in a section with clear structures; you will lead change and development and manage toward a balanced budget. Through your leadership, you enable learning and promote employee development.
You have central support from, among others, the HR sector, safety and security sector, lawyers, controllers, etc.
Qualification Requirements
You are a social worker or have other university education deemed equivalent, with management/leadership experience in the relevant area, which has given you very good knowledge of the target group, legislation, and methodology. As a leader, you are stable and attentive. Qualities highly valued for the position are that you are structured, have an easy time collaborating, and have a strategic and systematic approach. You are stimulated by finding solutions, thinking innovatively, and seeing the whole picture.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A driver's license is required for the position.
You are structured, clear, confident in your leadership, and have an easy time creating commitment and collaboration. You are a present and accessible manager for your work groups.
You should be familiar with the Work Environment Act and how the systematic work environment process works, and be able to collaborate with union representatives.
