HBV is seeking an engaged and confident unit manager for the Finance unit who wants to be part of developing both people, processes, and operations. In this key role, you will have the opportunity to lead an experienced and competent finance team while contributing to strengthening and developing HBV's Finance unit. About the company HBV is a procurement function owned by Sweden's non-profit housing companies. They conduct coordinated procurements of goods and services related to construction, renovation, and property management. Your responsibilities As unit manager, you have overall responsibility for the daily management and development of the unit. The role involves ensuring high quality in financial processes while working long-term on development, digitalization, and efficiency improvements. You become an important partner to the department manager and other management and serve as support in both operational and strategic matters. A large part of the role involves developing and coaching your employees, creating good conditions for performance and well-being. You collaborate closely with the business and have many contact points, both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will primarily include: Personnel responsibility for the finance unit's employees, including development conversations, salary discussions, and skills development Responsibility for financial statements, annual reports, tax declarations, and quality assurance of financial reports Being a contact person with auditors and authorities Working with budgets, forecasts, and follow-up for the entire business as well as budget responsibility for your own unit Preparing and analyzing cash flow forecasts Presenting financial results to management, employees, the board, and members Leading and participating in projects related to digitalization, process development, and system improvements Ensuring efficient financial processes within an operation with large invoice flows Your profile We are looking for someone with an academic education in finance or another relevant field and several years of experience in a leading role within finance. You have strong accounting expertise and feel confident with issues relating to financial statements, annual reports, taxes, VAT, and financial management. We would like to see that you have worked in an operation with large transaction flows and ideally in a member-governed or non-profit organization. You have good digital understanding and see opportunities to develop and streamline processes through digitalization and automation. Furthermore, you have experience working with budgets, forecasts, and business follow-up as well as driving projects within process or system development with successful results. You express yourself fluently in Swedish in both spoken and written form and feel comfortable in situations where you represent the business, for example at board meetings, staff meetings, trade fairs, and other networking occasions.
