About the Operation Aleris Basic Home Care Services operates on behalf of healthcare centers in Stockholm County and is responsible for care during evenings, nights, and weekends when healthcare centers are closed. Our teams operate from five geographical service areas and conduct home visits to patients who need medical assessment and treatment at home. The operation is part of Aleris Nearby Healthcare, which also includes ASIH (Advanced Healthcare at Home), palliative care units, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Nearby Acute Care. This provides excellent opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and continued development. About the Role As a unit manager, you have a key role in leading, developing, and creating good conditions for the operation together with your employees. You are responsible for ensuring that the operation is conducted with high quality, a good work environment, and a clear patient focus. You lead a competent team consisting of an assistant unit manager, nurses, nursing assistants, and coordinators. You report to the operations manager and are part of the management group for basic home care services, where together you drive the strategic development of the operation. Your main areas of responsibility are to: have personnel, work environment, and results responsibility lead the operation based on assignment, budget, and operational plan ensure high quality, continuity, and patient safety drive improvement and development work contribute to the operation's strategic development together with the management group. Working hours are mainly arranged Monday–Friday. Some presence during evenings and weekends occurs to create proximity to the operation and support employees in their work. We are looking for someone who is a confident, clear, and present leader. You enjoy creating engagement, building strong teams, and driving development together with others. You are structured in your approach, have good judgment, and make decisions with both the operation's and employees' best interests in focus. We see that you have: relevant university education, for example, in healthcare experience leading employees, preferably within healthcare good understanding of home care services or other patient-close care experience with operational development and change management good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written good IT and computer skills.
