About the position
As Unit Manager for Balancing Development, you will lead an established and high-performing unit within the Balancing section of the Operations Department. The unit consists of 13 employees organized in three teams and is responsible for developing and maintaining the control room processes for balancing. The unit plays a central role in ensuring efficient, secure, and sustainable management of power balance in close collaboration with the operational control room function. The assignment includes process management, development, monitoring, and analysis of the sub-processes that govern the operational management of support services and measures within balancing.
The unit is characterized by high competence, well-functioning work methods, and a stable and positive work environment. Your assignment will be to maintain and further develop this strong foundation, while ensuring that the unit meets increasing demands related to the development of balancing markets.
As Unit Manager, you will be part of the section's management team and have an important role in contributing to the organization's strategic development. You will gain broad contacts and good opportunities for professional development in an area undergoing significant change.
Responsibilities:
Lead, allocate, plan, and follow up on work within the Balancing Development unit and ensure goal achievement and reporting to the section manager.
Assume personnel and budget responsibility and coach employees in prioritization and execution, and ensure the implementation of unit manager duties with high quality according to annual cycles.
Ensure proper staffing for maintenance of control room processes, development, and project participation.
Maintain and further develop efficient work methods and contribute to the development of the balancing field.
Ensure good cooperation with the unit's key internal and external collaborators and represent the unit in relevant working and steering groups.

You also have:
Management experience with responsibility for personnel and budget.
Experience leading development work of an operational control room operation.
