We are working to put a new wastewater treatment plant into operation no later than 2028, planning for future drinking water supply and investing in other new water and wastewater facilities, modern technology and smarter ways of working. Now we are looking for an experienced leader who wants to help shape the next chapter for Enköping's water and wastewater operations. A leader with water and wastewater experience and strong drive! The water and wastewater operations consist of about fifty employees responsible for the production and distribution of drinking water, treatment of wastewater and operation and development of pipeline networks and facilities. You lead a highly skilled team and work closely with other managers to develop a modern, robust and future-proof water and wastewater operation. This is a role where you lead daily operations while driving development, change and improvement. Among other things, you will: lead and develop operations toward set goals create conditions for safe and stable operations ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements and permit conditions contribute to the implementation of major investment projects and new facilities develop organization, working methods and processes drive digitalization and develop the use of technology and system support work strategically with competency supply and operational development create good collaboration both within and outside operations. We are looking for you with the following experience and qualifications: relevant higher education or other education that the employer considers equivalent multiple years of experience from the water and wastewater industry where you possess knowledge of laws and regulations governing water and wastewater operations experience leading operations, employees and change initiatives experience with budget and operational responsibility good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Category B driver's license ability to use digital tools and AI support in projects, analysis and documentation work We consider it particularly meritorious if you have experience in: drinking water production, water treatment or other vital technical operations health protection and food legislation large investment or facility projects digitalization and operational development automation and control systems municipality operations.
