Work Tasks
As unit manager, you have overall responsibility for the unit, which includes patient safety, quality of care, and responsibility for personnel, budget, environment, and work environment. You lead, plan, and follow up on operations with a focus on quality, accessibility, and sustainability. You collaborate closely with other units within Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine as well as with external stakeholders in municipalities and within Health and Medical Care.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
Validated education as a medical care administrator, medical secretary, or physician secretary
Knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and Office 365
Good ability to collaborate and are development-oriented
Experience leading others
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
We consider it a merit if you have worked in healthcare with children and adolescents. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

About the Operations
Within the operational area of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, we conduct broad pediatric operations and have strong expertise in many subspecialty areas. We have a children's ward with 18 beds and a neonatal ward with 10 beds for newborns from gestational week 25+0. We have childcare for children and the operations have a very well-functioning mobile child team. Outpatient operations are conducted at the subspecialty clinic at USÖ and at three general pediatric clinics in Örebro, Lindesberg, and Karlskoga. At the children's and adolescent clinic, a dietitian, social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, teacher, and play therapist work in close collaboration with each other and with other healthcare staff. The operation has just over 230 employees. We offer varied work and a challenging and stimulating work environment.
