You are the manager of the development unit within the administrative department where you lead managers and employees. The unit consists of 3 sections, and you are part of the department's management group, report to the department manager, and share overall responsibility for operations with other managers. The department is responsible for governance and support of procurement, security, office management, document handling, and information management within the agency. The mission of the development unit is to drive and lead operational development for all support departments on behalf of the department manager—from needs to achieved results—and to support development issues, drive continuous improvements and digital transformation based on customer needs and internal efficiency, and to support and ensure competency for our agile teams that link to the department's sub-portfolio. As unit manager of the development unit, you are also the sub-portfolio owner for the department's sub-portfolio, which is conducted in close collaboration with the IT department. The unit has approximately 60 employees, including three section managers. Your work location is Sundbyberg. Our operations are in constant development and change. In this role, you should: - have the ability to see the whole picture with a focus on customer value - have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission - have the ability to act consciously in everyday work based on good self-awareness - be able to handle and analyze information flows, see connections, delimit and convey information - have the ability to communicate clearly and create a climate where we listen to each other You should also have: - relevant university education of 180 higher education credits (120 credits) - several years of current and relevant management experience in operational development with and without IT within larger government operations It is desirable that you have experience working with SAFE as a framework in IT development. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months. Within the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, without limitation on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
