Habilitation Center We are now looking for a unit manager for the children's and youth team at the habilitation center in Jönköping. This is the position for you if you want meaningful work. Through your leadership, you develop the work together with your colleagues. Our services contribute to promoting development, independence, participation, and health for children, young people, and adults who have congenital or acquired functional impairments. The Role of Unit Manager Leadership is about having vision, working goal-oriented, and creating engagement, as well as having the ability to utilize your colleagues' competence and ideas both as individuals and as a group. The purpose is to develop our working methods to offer the best possible services to the patients we encounter. You have overall responsibility for budget and results as well as personnel and work environment issues for your unit. The Habilitation Center is a clinic that collaborates with neighbors within specialist care, primary care, home healthcare, and especially with municipalities' activities within disability care, schools, and childcare. In your role as manager, you will have direct contact with these activities and sometimes indirectly through your colleagues. Your Workplace The Habilitation Center is a regional clinic that works with specialized services for people with lasting functional impairments. With us you will find children's, youth, and adult habilitation as well as vision center, hearing habilitation, and interpreter center. The clinic has offices in Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo. Work at the habilitation center is organized in teams. We are many professions working together: occupational therapist, dietitian, physiotherapist, social workers, speech-language pathologist, physician, psychologist, nurse, special education teacher, and healthcare administrator. The foundation of our work is meeting with people who come into contact with us based on their individual needs for habilitation. With the patient's needs at the center, our multidisciplinary teamwork is the key to achieving good results. Based on the individual's needs, services are planned and designed together with the individual and/or their representative. Our starting point is the equal value of all people. Your Profile We are looking for a unit manager who wants to develop together with us. You have an adequate education at the academic level and experience working as a manager. Education in leadership is highly valued. It is desirable that you have prior experience with and understanding of our target groups. As a person, you are trustworthy, clear in your communication, and have a good ability to listen to others. You have a high degree of personal maturity. We place great importance on personal suitability. Since travel is part of the job and we work across the region, a B driver's license is required. To thrive with us, you should have the drive to lead and develop the operations forward together with your colleagues and your colleagues in the management group. We are looking for you who are driven by collaborating with others for the best results; you are clear and proactive. You have good ability to communicate, organize, and prioritize. You are goal-oriented, have the ability to listen to others, and find it easy to express yourself verbally and in writing.
