Medical Unit, Rehabilitation Center We are now seeking a unit manager for the medical unit in Jönköping. This is the position for you who want meaningful work. Through your leadership, you will develop the work together with your team members. Our services contribute to promoting development, independence, participation, and health for children, young people, and adults who have congenital functional impairments. The Role of Unit Manager Leadership is about having vision, working goal-oriented, and creating engagement, as well as having the ability to utilize your employees' competence and ideas both as individuals and as a group with the aim of developing our working methods to offer the best possible services for the patients we meet. You have overall responsibility for budget and results as well as personnel and work environment matters for your unit. You will be responsible for result monitoring and maintaining stable staffing of doctors and nurses within the medical unit. You will collaborate with healthcare partners within both specialist care and primary care. Your Workplace Habiliteringscentrum is a regional clinic that provides specialized services for people with permanent functional impairments. With us, you will find child, youth, and adult rehabilitation services, as well as a vision center, hearing rehabilitation, and interpretation center. The clinic has offices in Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo. Within the medical unit, the clinic's medical specialists are employed. These are doctors with specialties in pediatric neurology, primary care, psychiatry, and rehabilitation, as well as pediatric nurses and nurses. The pediatric neurologists work part-time at the children's clinic. This means there is a need for close collaboration and joint planning with the children's clinic manager. Work at the rehabilitation center is organized in teams. Collaboration between different professions and together with the patient is central to achieving the best treatment results. We are many professions working together such as occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, speech pathologists, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and healthcare administrators. The foundation of our work is meeting with people who come into contact with us based on their individual rehabilitation needs. Based on the individual's needs, services are planned and designed together with the individual and/or their representative. Our starting point is the equal value of all people. Your Profile We are seeking a unit manager who wants to grow and develop with us. You are a doctor, nurse, or have another academic background that we deem suitable for the position. You have experience working as a manager and leadership training is highly valued. It is desirable that you have prior experience with and understanding of our target groups. As a person, you are trustworthy, clear in your communication, and have a good ability to listen to others. You have a high degree of personal maturity. We place great importance on personal suitability. Since travel is part of the position and we work across county lines, a driver's license is a requirement. For you to thrive with us, you should have a drive to want to lead and develop the business forward together with your employees and your colleagues in the management group.
