Unit Manager Convictus Södermalm

Convictus is a non-profit organization that since 1986 has focused on providing support to people living in vulnerable circumstances, with a particular focus on homelessness, harmful substance use, and health. For those within our target group living in recovery from harmful use who want to improve their health, we offer our sober member activities, Convictus Health Center and Convictus Södermalm. The activities aim to provide support for living in sobriety from drugs and alcohol by offering opportunities for exercise and wellness, social connection, and various leisure activities. Members come to us through contacts from various support housing, treatment facilities, healthcare providers, social services, and others, as well as through those who have found us on their own. The activities are funded by one- or multi-year public grants and are open to those who have a need for this specific support. The Position We are now seeking a unit manager for Convictus Södermalm who, through empathy, curiosity, and presence, leads the daily work on site. Responsibilities Organize the distribution of tasks within the unit so that staff and volunteers have clear information and structured routines in their daily work, though not personnel management responsibility Introduce new members and renew annual memberships at Convictus Södermalm Responsible for planning and implementing member activities in consultation with members based on their needs for development and engagement within the unit's budget Responsibility for purchasing and accounting for the unit's consumable goods Responsible for ensuring that existing partnerships continue and, if necessary, replace/initiate new partnerships and recruit volunteers as needed Serve as the unit's external representative and receive various visitors, study visits, and guide individuals conducting internships and/or community service at the unit Be a role model and treat members, colleagues, and other visitors constructively and professionally Responsible for and contribute to making the unit's space welcoming and pleasant Responsible for ensuring the unit's reporting and statistics are accurate Monthly reporting and follow-up with your immediate supervisor Qualifications, we are looking for someone who has: Documented experience working with people living in homelessness, harmful use of drugs and alcohol, and/or in recovery from harmful use Experience working with a harm reduction perspective, CBT-inspired motivational interviewing (MI), low-arousal approach (LAB), and person-centered approach Good planning ability and economic sense Solution-oriented and experienced in working flexibly Documented experience in project and change management Experience working with limited resources and varying tasks Good collaboration skills and experience in mentoring An inclusive and respectful approach Meritorious qualifications: Experience working with women who have experienced violence in acute homelessness, with active use of harmful substances and mental health issues Previous experience in the non-profit sector B-class driver's license We Offer Meaningful work that contributes to improving the living situation of people Engaged colleagues and a supportive work environment Opportunity to develop the activities and contribute your own ideas Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period Collective agreement within health, care, and social services (Vision) Additional Information Workplace: Convictus Södermalm, Magnus Ladulåsgatan 9 BV Working hours: Weekdays (no Sundays/holidays) 11:45-19:15 Start date: As soon as possible by arrangement Scope: Full-time or by arrangement Salary: Monthly salary
