Your New Position
You will work with teaching English in combination with another subject. Your assignment also includes mentoring in year 8. You will be part of both a work team and a subject team, where together you work to create conditions for successful learning in a safe environment with good relationships.

We have 442 students distributed from years 7 to 9. The school has a very nice location on a hilltop above Norrahammar with an adjacent sports and swimming hall as well as access to football fields. Flahultsskolan is built on the principle of a home base for each year group with associated work teams.
Our school strives to be a leader in preventive values-based work with close collaboration between educators and teachers in after-school programs, special teachers, and the student welfare team. Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who is a trained teacher with teacher certification, or alternatively a candidate who has not yet received teacher certification or is in the final stages of your education, and who has qualifications in English in combination with a subject for years 7-9. You are flexible, engaged, and have a strong interest in educating and developing young people based on their individual circumstances. You have an interest in knowledge and digitalization methods to develop your teaching. You are confident in your leadership and are a good role model. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate, but also take your own initiatives and make your own decisions in your work situation. We consider it meritorious if you have experience teaching and working with students.
Beyond this, you are well grounded in the elementary school's mission and governing documents and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You also have basic IT skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
