About the Position Personal assistance is an intervention under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain People with Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you'll primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's autonomy and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks can vary depending on the workplace. The client is a teenage boy living in Njurunda. In this assignment, in addition to working in the home environment, you'll accompany the client to school and activities. There is also a dog in the home, so it's important that you are comfortable with pets and not allergic. As an assistant, you'll support the client in all aspects of his daily life, from personal care to transfers and activities. We're now looking for two new engaged assistants for his team! Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We're therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It's also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it's important that there's good personal chemistry between you and the client. We're now looking for someone who matches the following: wants to work with a 16-year-old boy in Njurunda has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written can tolerate fur-bearing animals (there is a dog in the client's home) has a B driver's license and access to a car is smoke-free during work hours For the position, it's advantageous if you: have experience with personal assistance or similar work have experience working with feeding tubes share the client's interests in music and TV Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with employment levels of approximately 65% and 57% respectively. Working hours are arranged for day and evening shifts. Day shifts vary between 06:30-15:00 and 06:30-17:00. Evening shifts vary between 14:30-22:00 and 17:00-22:00. Weekend work occurs. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date September 1 or by agreement.
