About the Organization Hagaskolan was founded in 2019 and is a municipal primary school for students in grades F-9 with approximately 850 students and 100 employees. The school is located near Vallentuna center with good transportation and nature right at hand. Here you will find well-designed facilities, outdoor classrooms, and a large, beautiful schoolyard that invites both social and academic learning. Since spring 2022, Hagaskolan has been an accredited Erasmus+ school, which means we invest extra in internationalization. Job Responsibilities You will work as a music teacher primarily in grades 2-5 but also in our specialized teaching groups in grades 4-6. This is a part-time position at 60% with three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) at the school. By engaging students in instruction, you awaken and take advantage of their interests and curiosity, making teaching exciting and innovative. You base your instruction on scientific evidence, employ a formative approach, analyze teaching strategies, and develop and adapt instruction based on student learning and toward increased goal achievement. In your interaction with students, you continually develop yourself and your role as a teacher. In your classroom, all students have the opportunity to succeed and demonstrate their knowledge in many different ways. Beyond pedagogical work, you build relationships with your colleagues and contribute to school development. You work closely with the school's other music teachers to develop music education at the school. Qualifications Licensed teacher with authorization to teach music. Experience planning, implementing, and following up instruction based on current curriculum and course plans. Documented experience using digital learning platforms for planning, communication, and assessment. Strong ability to conduct formative assessment and provide feedback that supports student learning. Strong ability to work with language development and cooperatively. Experience with accommodations within regular instruction. Excellent knowledge of the Swedish language. Meritorious Qualifications Experience teaching in specialized teaching groups. Experience leading or participating in school development projects, preferably internationalization, as we are an Erasmus+ school. Authorization to teach subjects beyond those we are seeking.
