About the Organization
Hagaskolan was founded in 2019 and is a municipal primary school for students in grades F-9 with approximately 850 students and 100 employees. The school is located close to Vallentuna center with good transportation connections and nature nearby. Here you will find appropriate facilities, outdoor classrooms, and a large, beautiful schoolyard that invites both social and academic learning. Since spring 2022, Hagaskolan has been an accredited Erasmus+ school, which means we invest extra in internationalization.

Duties
You will work as a music teacher primarily in grades 2-5 but also in our special instruction groups in grades 6-9. The position is a part-time role at 60% with three days at school.
By engaging students in your teaching, you awaken and utilize their interest and curiosity, making learning exciting and innovative. You base your teaching on scientific evidence, use a formative approach, analyze teaching strategies, and develop and adapt instruction based on student learning and increased goal achievement. In working with students, you continuously develop yourself and your role as a teacher. In your classroom, all students have the opportunity to succeed and demonstrate their knowledge in many different ways. Beyond pedagogical work, you build relationships with your colleagues and contribute to the school's development. You collaborate closely with the school's other music teachers to develop music as a subject at the school.
Qualifications
Accredited teacher with authorization to teach music.
Experience in planning, implementing, and following up instruction based on applicable curricula and course syllabi.
Documented experience using digital learning platforms for planning, communication, and assessment.
Strong ability to conduct formative assessment and provide feedback that supports student learning.
Strong ability to work with language development and collaboratively.
Experience working with accommodations within regular instruction.
Excellent knowledge of the Swedish language.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience teaching in special instruction groups.
Experience leading or participating in school development projects, preferably internationalization as we are an Erasmus+ school.
Authorization to teach subjects in addition to those we are seeking.
