Would you like meaningful extra work where you help people find their way to employment or studies? We are looking for hourly mentors to join our team in Örebro – and we welcome both older job seekers and retirees who want to continue contributing their experience and expertise.
About the Position
As an hourly mentor within Rusta och Matcha, you support job seekers on their path toward self-sufficiency. You work in a coaching and motivating manner to help participants find the right job or education.
Your tasks may include:
Individual guidance and coaching
Matching to jobs and educational programs
Contact with employers and networking
Support with application processes and interview preparation
Working hours are planned according to need and availability – a flexible role suitable for you if you want to work part-time, extra, or combine work with retirement or other activities.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, skilled at building relationships, and comfortable in an environment where you help others grow. You are social, flexible, and solution-oriented, and enjoy inspiring and motivating people.
Requirements
You must meet at least one of the following options:
Option 1:
At least 180 college credits (120 credits under the previous system)
At least two years of full-time work experience
Option 2:
At least one year of full-time studies at post-secondary level with satisfactory results
At least three years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas: Management with personnel responsibility
Recruitment
Career transition work for job seekers
Education and career counseling
Handling of personnel matters (not solely administration)
Work with employment and labor market issues
Work with social and group psychology
Career guidance
Meritorious Skills and Experience
Strong network within the local business community
Language skills beyond Swedish
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Structured, self-initiated, and results-oriented
Strong communication skills and coaching approach
Digital competence and experience conducting online meetings
