Dedicated Unit Manager for Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic, Psychiatry Northwest Psychiatry Northwest is a university clinic located in the northwestern part of Stockholm County's healthcare region (SLSO). We offer psychiatric specialist care in both outpatient and inpatient settings for adults over 18 years old throughout Stockholm County. Additionally, we provide national highly specialized care for adult patients with severe self-harm behaviors. Our operations encompass approximately 450 employees distributed across three general psychiatric outpatient clinics, four specialized clinics/units, a mobile acute unit, and two administrative units. In inpatient care, the clinic has five care wards. We strive to offer high-quality, evidence-based care while creating a work environment that is developmental, pleasant, and sustainable. We are now seeking a dedicated, structured, and confident unit manager for one of our general psychiatric clinics: Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic. The clinic, which is part of Psychiatry Northwest, is a well-functioning workplace with approximately 35 employees. The work team includes nurses, psychologists, physicians, counselor/rehabilitation coordinator, psychotherapist, and medical secretaries. Medical residents (AT and ST physicians), as well as students from various professions, are also placed at the unit. We work according to psychiatric care processes and strive for good patient care, professional care with high quality, and are particularly committed to ensuring that every patient contact is characterized by respectful treatment. We are located in beautiful, bright, and newly renovated premises adjacent to Sollentuna commuter train station. Bus connections are also excellent. Sollentuna centrum is nearby with a wide range of shops and restaurants. You will be part of the clinic's Section Leadership Group, with the task of developing care content and collaboration within the outpatient sector. Responsibilities As a unit manager, your overall responsibility is to lead, follow up, and develop the clinic and its employees. You are responsible for the unit's finances, personnel, work environment, and environmental matters. Daily work involves active presence and genuine commitment to the clinic. Great emphasis is placed on developing the clinic's operations as well as collaboration with other units and departments within the clinic, and care partners such as primary care, addiction services, and the northwestern municipalities. You report to the section manager. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a specialist nurse in psychiatry, a licensed psychologist, or has other relevant healthcare education. You have experience in psychiatric outpatient care and previous management experience. Personal Qualities Great emphasis is placed on good leadership skills and good collaboration abilities. Employment Type Time-limited assignment as unit manager with permanent employment in the base position. Working hours Monday – Friday (40 hours/week). Start date by agreement.
