Dedicated Work Supervisor, LSS

About the role
Individkraft operates day activity programs for persons covered by target group 1 under LSS. We work primarily with creative tasks such as crafts, art, music, gaming, and data/media. In addition, we offer wellness activities in various forms.
In this role, you will plan and conduct activities with participants both in groups and individually. Together you will create a positive environment for meaningful and developmental activities and an enjoyable social context.
You work in a supportive, training, and motivating capacity to guide and help participants work toward their individual goals. The work requires that you are skilled at motivating and inspiring and finding creative solutions.
You will also provide support during activities, where you "catch" those individuals who need extra personnel support to carry out their tasks. You will also work with people with various disabilities and provide practical support with ADL (activities of daily living), such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.
About you
We are looking for someone with a secondary education in care work, preferably with a focus on disability or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Alternatively, you may have post-secondary education in one of our activity areas.
You should feel confident in your role and have at least 3 years of experience working with this target group. You should feel comfortable handling challenging behavior. If you have knowledge in one or more of our activities, such as crafts, wellness, data/media, gaming, art, or music, that is a great advantage.
It is meritorious if you have educational training and education in communication, for example TAKK.
An important part of your work is maintaining social documentation. It is therefore necessary that you have strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You feel comfortable working independently and can be flexible based on our participants' wishes and needs. You are unpretentious, curious, have a positive attitude, and enjoy collaborating. You thrive when things are happening and find it easy to prioritize. You need the ability to listen and understand other people's situations and have good empathetic skills. You enjoy working in a structured, quality-conscious, and solution-focused manner based on each participant's individual needs.
