Areas of Responsibility As an Energy Engineer with us, you contribute to the development of smart, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions as well as digital working methods for efficient property operations. You work both strategically and operationally to translate data and technical information into concrete results. In this role, you bring energy expertise to operations, management, and property development. You develop proposals for energy measures, conduct investment assessments, and drive development projects. The work also includes analysis and monitoring of energy consumption as well as evaluation of implemented energy measures. The position is located within the operations unit, an experienced team with broad technical expertise responsible for the technical operations, maintenance, energy monitoring, and indoor environment of the properties. You report to the operations manager and are based in Norsborg, with the entire Botkyrka municipality as your work area. Main Responsibilities: Contribute to achieving the company's sustainability and customer satisfaction goals Perform administrative monitoring, logging, and verification Support and coach operations personnel and suppliers in daily work, including control and regulation matters as well as customer issues Ensure good indoor environment and cost-efficient operations through optimization and alarm management Work in superior systems together with external suppliers Troubleshoot SCADA systems and investigate technical faults together with colleagues and suppliers Prepare deviation reports and improvement suggestions based on technical requirements Participate in development and coordination of HVAC, control, and monitoring systems as well as maintenance planning Provide technical advice in projects and review documents from an operations and management perspective Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards and ensure compliance Qualifications We are looking for you who have a relevant engineering degree in energy, technology, real estate, HVAC, or construction, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience. You have several years of experience in energy optimization, energy analysis, and energy efficiency in properties, and good knowledge of heating, ventilation, control, and monitoring systems. You are experienced in monitoring and analyzing energy performance as well as developing forecasts, decision-making documents, and action plans that lead to concrete improvements. Experience in driving energy efficiency projects and translating technical data into sustainable and business-like solutions is important. Experience with installation projects as well as knowledge of real estate economics and technical or financial calculations is a merit. The role requires good system and IT skills, preferably from energy and real estate systems, as well as good Excel knowledge. You express yourself well in Swedish and English in speech and writing and have a category B driving license. Experience from real estate companies and knowledge of energy mapping, energy management systems, IMD, technical monitoring systems, and EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) is a merit. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You work independently, take initiative, and drive issues from analysis to implementation and follow-up. At the same time, you collaborate easily and build good relationships with colleagues, customers, and external parties. You enjoy working both strategically and operationally and have the ability to see both the big picture and the details.
