In the role, you have overall functional responsibility within the energy area and work closely with colleagues in the organization. You report directly to the Property Manager and are part of the department's management team. Your Assignment As an Energy Engineer, you are responsible for the company's control and monitoring with the goal of ensuring operationally reliable and energy-optimized properties. You are responsible for ensuring that the company has the right technical prerequisites to energy-optimize our properties and neighborhood squares. You work long-term to identify, plan, and initiate energy-saving measures and investments that reduce our energy consumption. Your main work tasks include: Operational Optimization: Analyze energy data to identify deviations and optimize control and regulation systems (heating, ventilation, cooling) on our squares and properties. Management of complex operational disruptions. SRÖ: Responsibility for technical standards and operational environment. Energy Planning and Projects: Responsibility for energy plans and initiating projects within the energy area such as solar panel installations, lighting (which also contributes to increased safety on the squares), heat recovery, and other energy-saving measures. Project Support: Participate in projects providing support on technical matters. Collaboration & Follow-up: Work closely with our Commercial and Technical Administrators on-site at our properties and be responsible for energy monitoring and regulatory compliance. Your Profile We are looking for someone who has: At least three years of experience with operational optimization, energy efficiency, and energy work in commercial properties or from an equivalent role. Engineering education in energy, property technology, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience with, or good knowledge of, design and procurement of solar panel installations and other energy efficiency and investment projects. Good knowledge of building automation and control and regulation technology. Driver's license category B, as the position involves travel between our properties and neighborhood squares in Gothenburg. To thrive and succeed in the role, you are a technically skilled and business-minded person with a genuine interest in sustainable development and energy efficiency. You have a good understanding of how technical solutions can create economic, environmental, and social value. Since much of the work takes place at our properties and neighborhood squares, you appreciate being present in the operations and collaborating with different functions. You are accustomed to driving your work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to translate analyses into concrete improvement measures. We also see that you have solid experience with sustainability and energy issues related to commercial properties. As a person, you are communicative, receptive, and have a talent for building good relationships.
