The Municipal Management Administration leads, develops, and supports the municipality's total organization and operations based on applicable legislation and guidelines. Within our departments, we work with finance, HR, communication, citizen services, and planning and growth. The Workplace
The Unit for Sustainable Development, organizationally part of the Municipal Management Administration's Growth and Business Department, is the municipality's central and strategic resource for sustainable development. The unit is responsible for steering and supporting sustainability matters and collaborates internally as well as with external actors on sustainability-related issues.
The municipality's energy and climate advisory service is located at the unit for sustainable development and provides citizens, businesses, and organizations with independent and free-of-charge information so they can make good decisions on energy and climate matters. Trelleborg Municipality is responsible for the energy and climate advisory services provided in Trelleborg, Burlöv, Vellinge, and Skurup municipalities. Now we have a temporary position where you, together with another energy and climate advisor, will develop the municipalities in a sustainable way.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone with great commitment and interest in energy and climate issues. As an energy and climate advisor, you provide citizens, small and medium-sized businesses, associations, and organizations with independent and free-of-charge information and are responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and developing the municipality's advisory services for these target groups.
Advisory services are provided via email, phone, site visits, trade fairs, and other events and cover areas such as heating systems, solar panels, insulation, energy preparedness, and more. You disseminate information about the advisory service through available channels and highlight the effects of the advisory services and important results achieved, both internally and externally to citizens and business operators. The work includes both internal collaboration with colleagues as well as external collaboration with other municipalities, the regional administrative board, and other actors such as Energikontor Syd, Region Skåne, and academia. You will work both independently and in project groups on various development issues. You will have good opportunities to carry out your own initiatives, projects, and campaigns related to your area of responsibility.
You have a professional and service-oriented approach and treat all advisees equally and according to their respective needs.
Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for the advisory services in Trelleborg, Burlöv, Vellinge, and Skurup municipalities.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree from a university or vocational college in energy, engineering, climate and/or environment, or another field that the employer deems relevant. You have knowledge of energy systems and various energy technical solutions as well as understanding the connection between climate impact and transportation, energy use, and consumption.
It is an advantage to have work experience from energy and climate advisory services or equivalent work.
To be successful in the role, your personal qualities and abilities are of great importance. We are looking for someone who has the ability to plan and independently organize and prioritize your work, is driven, thinks solution-oriented, and takes own initiatives. The role requires that you can switch between different issues, big and small, by working in a structured, systematic, and goal-oriented manner.
Since the assignment involves close collaboration with both internal and external actors, good collaboration skills and a personal ability to create engagement and enthusiasm around energy issues and sustainability in general are required. You are confident in the advisory and presentation role, both physically and digitally, and understand the importance of working broadly with all aspects of the climate issue.
You have good English language comprehension, in addition to speaking and writing Swedish very well.

A driving license is a requirement.
