Embedded Software Developer – Take the next step in your embedded journey Have you worked a few years with embedded development and feel like you're ready for the next step? We're looking for Embedded Software Developers with approximately 1–5 years of experience for several different assignments with our customers in the Gothenburg area. The assignments are long-term and technically challenging, and give you the opportunity to build deep expertise in embedded development – while continuing to grow at your own pace. About the role As an embedded developer at Tech Talents, you'll enter assignments where you already have a technical foundation to stand on, but where you also have the opportunity to grow. You work in a team together with more experienced developers and contribute to both implementation and further development of systems and products. Depending on the assignment, you may work: close to hardware and firmware with real-time systems or Embedded Linux more application-focused in the embedded software You become part of cross-functional teams where software, hardware, and systems meet, and where you can gradually take on more responsibility in the development chain – from design and implementation to testing and improvements. Examples of what you can work on Development of software for embedded systems Programming in C and/or C++ Debugging, testing, and verification Collaboration with hardware, testing, and systems teams Further development of existing codebases Participation in technical discussions and improvement work We're looking for someone who Has approximately 1–5 years of experience in embedded development Has worked with C, C++, and/or related technologies Has basic understanding of embedded systems and how software interacts with hardware Wants to continue developing and building deeper technical expertise Enjoys working in teams and likes learning from others It's a merit (but absolutely not a requirement) if you have experience with: RTOS or Embedded Linux Python, scripts, or simple test automation CI/CD, build systems, or version control Regulated or technically complex environments Why Tech Talents?
