WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As an electrical technician with us, you will work with: • New construction and reconstruction of electrical grids • Repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical grids • Street lighting installations • Excavation work, cable laying, and site restoration • Working together with machine operators, technicians, and colleagues in the field • Handling customer issues and providing technical support • Participation in planning and reporting of work activities Beyond the listed responsibilities, there is a clear expectation that as an employee you will solve situations that may arise in operations outside your direct area of responsibility. Work takes place outdoors, year-round, in varying environments and conditions. On-call duty is included in the position once your employer determines you have sufficient experience with the work tasks. This is work that is sometimes physically demanding, dirty, wet, and cold, and requires both a strong sense of responsibility and good work ethic. At the same time, it is a job with strong team spirit and a clear societal mission: ensuring that everyday life runs smoothly for Vimmerby residents. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications A class B driver's license is required for the position. You also need to be comfortable with physical work and working outdoors, regardless of weather. You don't need to know everything from the start—what matters most is that you want to learn, take responsibility, and develop as assignments progress.
