At Vattenfall Värme in Uppsala, we are now looking for an electrical power engineer for a stable and future-oriented operation with a high technical level. Here you will be offered varied and developmental work in ensuring and developing our electrical power installations while contributing to the energy transition and a more sustainable society. About the Role As an electrical power engineer, you will be offered varied and developmental work in ensuring safe operation of our electrical installation and being involved in its development. You will participate in renovation and expansion projects as a requirements engineer and be involved in the procurement of service agreements and similar. The role is also part of corrective maintenance, both as an executor and as support to our technicians. You will work in our maintenance system SAP-PM with facility registers, work order management, maintenance plans, etc. You will be part of a cohesive and knowledgeable team with several senior colleagues who actively support each other in daily work. Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain efficient maintenance plans for, among other things, our switchgear and operations to ensure high availability, operational reliability and cost-effectiveness. Provide technical support to supervisors and technicians during corrective maintenance. Lead or participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations of operational disruptions and major cost drivers. Identify investment needs regarding modernization, development and upgrades. Participate in investigations/preliminary studies for future investments. Assist with knowledge and requirements in projects and during risk analyses. The work is varied and you will, for example, be out in the operations close to our core business, participate in project meetings, work in teams, but also independently on and outside the office. Once you have become comfortable in the role, you will participate in scheduled on-call duty. Job Requirements We are looking for you who have: • Post-secondary education as a graduate engineer, vocational higher education or similar with a focus on electrical power or equivalent work experience. • Several years of experience working with electrical installations in industry, energy production or other relevant operations. • Competence in high voltage, low voltage, electrical operations, cable dimensioning and design. • Good knowledge of electrical safety and ESA. • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English in speech and writing. • Class B driver's license. Knowledge in AutoCAD/ElProCAD and SAP PM/MM is a plus.
