Background Would you like to work with electrical design in one of Gothenburg's largest infrastructure projects? At Gryaab, you'll be part of developing Nya Rya – a multi-billion investment that will secure future wastewater treatment for the entire region. You'll work from pre-project planning through facility completion alongside experienced colleagues in an operation that makes a difference for both people and the environment. Work within Nya Rya is divided into four phases, and the program is currently in the pre-project planning phase. The goal is for the expanded and upgraded treatment plant to be ready by 2036 to meet future treatment requirements and society's needs. Responsibilities As an electrical design engineer within Nya Rya, you will work with electrical design throughout the project's lifecycle – from pre-project planning and detailed design to commissioning of the completed facility. Examples of work tasks: Develop and update electrical drawings and technical documentation Participate as an electrical specialist in project groups Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and contractors Ensure that solutions meet technical requirements and industry standards Participate in tests, verification, and commissioning When needed, lead minor sub-projects within the electrical field You will also collaborate with other people at Gryaab who work with electrical design and may also contribute to work on the existing facility. There is an opportunity for mentoring and experience exchange with existing staff. You will be part of the Large Projects department and report to the department manager. Qualifications We like to meet wastewater management's technical challenges together with other competencies in a practical and long-term sustainable way. We are looking for someone who has: Secondary education in electrical engineering and ECY certification Experience with electrical design or electrical project management Good understanding of industrial electrical systems Ability to read process flow diagrams and technical drawings Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is a merit if you have: Several years of experience as an electrician Higher education in electrical engineering Experience from process industry or larger facility projects Experience with Cadett Elsa and/or Comos Experience with contracting and contract matters To succeed in this role, you work in a structured and methodical manner. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with both internal and external stakeholders. You communicate clearly and contribute to a positive work environment by sharing knowledge and experience. Other Information Gryaab treats wastewater in the Gothenburg region.
