Logistics is our passion! As part of the Elkjøp Group, we supply all customers, Elgiganten stores, and hubs across the Nordic region with home electronics, kitchens, and other products.
Logistics is something living, a complex flow of goods that must reach the right customer at the right time. Trucks, conveyor belts, lorries, automation solutions, IT systems, lifting equipment, and all other tools in our daily operations form the circulatory system, but everything stops without the heart – the people. A vital pumping force and the soul of Elgiganten Logistics. It's people who keep everything running smoothly at the Nordic region's largest logistics facility.
Together, we form the heart of Elgiganten's logistics machinery, and you'll find us at Torsvik, approximately 1 mile south of Jönköping.
Your Assignment
As a Project Manager with us, you'll be a key player in our Quality & PMO department. You'll lead projects that drive our operations forward – from idea to implementation – with a focus on IT, automation, analytics, and operational development.
You will, among other things:
Plan, allocate resources, lead, and follow up on projects according to our project model.
Develop and maintain our project structure, including templates and documentation.
Ensure clear objectives and mandates before project initiation.
Coordinate resource allocation and prepare decision-making materials for new initiatives.
Train and support the organization in project methodology and tools.
Contribute to ensuring our project portfolio delivers value in line with our long-term goals.
Who Are You?
You are a dedicated and analytical project manager with a burning interest in logistics and operational development. You have the ability to see the big picture, but also the courage to dive into the details when needed.
We believe you have:
Academic background in logistics, supply chain, engineering, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience managing projects in complex environments.
Good understanding of logistics flows and distribution systems.
Experience working with technical solutions and change management.
Very strong Swedish and English language skills, both spoken and written.
Strong proficiency in the Office package, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
A humble approach and a strong willingness to develop – both yourself and together with others.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
