We are looking for you as a student support specialist
As a student support specialist at Realgymnasiet, you create the conditions for learning by supporting students in their development toward the program's educational goals. You work closely with student welfare services and collaborate with mentors, teachers, and student welfare specialists to ensure our students have the best conditions for learning. You will primarily work with students' personal and academic development and support students in areas such as structure, clarifying instructions, and social interactions. In our vocational programs, students' employability after graduation is an important part of the mission, and you will be part of supporting students based on their individual needs along the way.
You will primarily work with students in the Electrical and Energy Program with a focus on Computer and Communication Technology in years 1 and 2. An important part of the role is to see the students and show genuine interest in them and their interests.
This is a fixed-term position as a student support specialist at 60-75% until June next year.
Realgymnasiet in Linköping is a secondary school with approximately 250 students divided among four different programs. You will become part of a driven and pleasant team at a welcoming school.
Qualifications
To be a suitable candidate for this role, we look for:
Education or experience working with students in need of support within school settings.
It is advantageous to have computer skills and an interest in IT and technology.
