Are you someone with a natural gift for teaching, genuine curiosity, and strong problem-solving skills? At Myrviken School, we are looking for a new colleague to join us before the fall semester 2026 to work with students in grades 7-9 with a passion for learning and social work. You will be part of an experienced and engaged team that places the student and their learning at the center, and your role will include not only work as a student support worker but also collaboration with the school's safety team. Job Responsibilities The work involves supporting individual students throughout the school day alongside other educators in your team. You will work closely with your colleagues, the rector, and the special education coordinator to develop support measures based on each student's individual needs. You will assist students with their learning and social interaction during breaks and between classes. Your tasks may be performed both individually and in classroom settings, and as part of our team you will also spend some of your time working with the school's safety team. You will be based at our upper secondary campus and your work will focus on grades 7-9. Qualifications We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in pedagogy or social work that the employer deems relevant for this position. Previous experience working as a student assistant in primary school is advantageous. Experience collaborating on social issues and outreach activities is also beneficial. You must have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and knowledge of the Sámi language and culture is therefore advantageous.
