As a Student Coordinator at Hästveda School, you will become a key person in the school's team and contribute to creating the best conditions for our students' learning and development. In your role as Student Coordinator, you will work closely with students to promote safety, well-being, and academic motivation. Your assignment includes mentoring at both individual and group levels where you listen, guide, inform, and support students in their academic situations and work to create a good working and learning environment for the students. You will work with student responsibility, influence, and awareness of their own academic situation. An important part of the work is implementing the curriculum's values-based mission. The Student Coordinator collaborates with other staff, particularly teachers and student health services. Your assignment as Student Coordinator also includes attendance monitoring and contact with guardians to jointly create good conditions for students' schooling and achievement of goals. Other work tasks related to the school's operations may be added. The Student Coordinator position has an employment rate of 80%. The employment lasts until 2027-06-11. Who are you? We are looking for someone with a higher education degree appropriate for the assignment in, for example, pedagogy, health, or behavioral science, or other post-secondary education considered equivalent. Experience working with children and young people at primary school age is an asset. You are an adult role model with a well-developed ability to create good and sustainable relationships. You have good initiative and drive, can work independently, and at the same time enjoy working well with others. As a person, you are confident in yourself and have the ability to work both individually with students and in the classroom together with other students and educators. You enjoy developing and helping people and have strong social competence when it comes to communication with both students, guardians, and staff both within and outside the school's operations.
