Together, we create a work environment where both students and staff are engaged and work toward each other's success. Job Responsibilities We have 6 school units at Burgårdens Gymnasium. Your primary focus will be on students at Unit 1, the Hair and Styling Program, and your direct supervisor will be the unit's principal. In this role, you contribute to creating safety and well-being in the part of the school where these students are based, while also moving through other parts of the school. We work based on the curriculum's value foundation and actively work with the environment, climate, and treatment we want to have at the school. Every student should be treated with respect, feel safe, and enjoy being at school. You work closely with principals, student health teams, and safety teams, coordinating efforts around students who for various reasons have or risk having academic difficulties and may not reach their goals. In this role, you work with groups to promote social interaction and a safe environment. You assist in investigations of harassment reports and in contacts with students and guardians. Furthermore, you work for a good work and learning environment for students and can support mentors in their absence prevention efforts. You collaborate with the school's various professional roles, guardians, and authorities to create the best possible conditions for each student. This position is a parental leave substitute. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in behavioral science, social work, or other relevant higher education in behavioral science, social work, or equivalent that we consider comparable. Experience with similar tasks at a secondary school is an asset. You have a genuine interest in working with young people and a good ability to build relationships. You are a positive role model for the school's young people. As a person, you are solution-focused, service-oriented, patient, and flexible. You have the ability to meet people with different backgrounds in a professional and attentive manner. You have very good communication skills and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You have the ability to work independently while enjoying collaboration in different work groups. You take responsibility for your tasks and actively contribute to developing the organization based on set goals. You have good IT skills and find it easy to use various digital systems and IT tools.
