The school has approximately 730 students distributed across grades F-3, 4-6, 7-9, and an after-school program, with approximately 100 staff members. All educators are part of a work team with an assigned coordinator. At Rödsleskolan, dedicated staff work with a positive and inclusive approach, committed to giving students a good school day. DUTIES Your mission with us is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet. Great emphasis is placed on relationships and special education approaches. We are looking for you to work as a student assistant and resource for our students. You will work closely with one or more students during the school day and provide important support in both teaching and social situations. The assignment involves adapting support based on the student's individual needs in close collaboration with the work team and student health services. Students may have various needs such as neurodevelopmental variations, medical needs like diabetes, other functional variations, or need for special support. You contribute to creating safety, structure, and participation in the student's school day. QUALIFICATIONS We see that you have experience working with students in need of special support, and it is meritorious if you also have experience with children with diabetes. The positions may be combined with work in the after-school program. The assignment includes: * supporting students in teaching and during breaks * contributing to a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment * assisting with structure, clarity, and routines * collaborating with teachers and other staff * when needed, handling medical routines according to instructions, such as diabetes support We are looking for you who: * have experience working with children and youth * have knowledge of or experience with neurodevelopmental variations and low-arousal approaches * are confident working with students in need of special support * express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
