Korsängsskolan is seeking an engaged and confident student assistant who wants to support students in their learning, social development, and daily school life. We're looking for someone who wants to work closely with students and, together with the school staff, create the best conditions for safety, inclusion, and goal achievement.
Korsängsskolan is a school with grades F-9 serving over 860 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area covering both parts of the town center and some rural areas. The school was opened in 1948 and has been in operation since then, with additions and renovations over the years. The school is popular with high demand, and most students attend all 10 of their years at Korsängsskolan.

DUTIES
As a student assistant, you work to support one or more students during the school day based on their individual needs. You are an important adult who contributes to structure, motivation, and safety in both teaching and social situations.
• support students in teaching situations
• help provide structure and clarity throughout the school day
• promote student independence and social development
• collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and guardians
• contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
• support students during transitions, breaks, and other social situations
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for someone who
• has experience working with children and young people
• is calm, confident, and has a professional approach
• has a strong ability to build relationships and establish trust
• is flexible and can adapt your work style to the student's needs
• enjoys collaborating and contributing to a positive work environment
It's an advantage if you have education in child and youth care, pedagogy, or experience working with students with special needs.
