The role of student assistant with us As a student assistant at Kollaskolan adapted primary school, you work together with colleagues in your team and other staff to support a smaller teaching group. The students follow different curricula within the adapted primary school, which means the work needs to be adapted to individual needs and conditions. The position includes educational work based on students' needs within teaching, care, and support. Your profile To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be flexible and have an easy time adapting to changed circumstances and new information. You have the ability to quickly switch between different perspectives, work methods, and approaches, and you see opportunities where others see challenges. You value collaboration and see the strength in being part of a team. You are happy to share your knowledge and experience, while not hesitating to ask for help when needed. Your pedagogical ability and good empathetic skills are important qualities, and you gain energy from working in an activity characterized by variation and development. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has: experience working with low-affect interaction. experience working with AAC, alternative and augmentative communication. relevant experience working with various types of assistive devices. It is meritorious if you have: experience working in an adapted primary school.
