IES Eskilstuna is seeking an engaged and confident student assistant who wants to make a difference. Your primary task as a student assistant is to work with an individual student in grades 4-6 with care needs. The role involves being a close support for the student during the school day and at after-school care, with a focus on ensuring a safe and functioning daily routine both in the classroom and during breaks. Responsibilities • Support the student in schoolwork and adapt activities according to needs • Be a trusted and present support during the school day and after-school hours • Work closely with teachers, guardians, and medical personnel to ensure a safe and stimulating school environment • Provide support to other students as needed Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience working with children in primary school. You have completed secondary-level healthcare education or have equivalent experience. Previous experience with the above tasks is a requirement, and you need knowledge and experience with children with diabetes. You are attentive, flexible, and have strong collaboration skills. You have an ease in building good relationships and cooperating with students, guardians, staff teams, the school's student health team, and school leadership. You are driven by a desire to see opportunities for improvement for both the student and your colleagues as well as for the operations themselves. You have the ability to quickly adapt to new or changed requirements and conditions. Working together with others with good cohesion and an open work climate is something you appreciate and value.
