Your Responsibilities
Your primary task is to provide support to students in grades 4-6. You are present throughout the entire school day. Your role is to be a trusted, motivating adult who helps the student participate in teaching, maintain focus, and feel included both in the classroom, during breaks, and in leisure activities.
Together with responsible teachers, you create structure and clarity by preparing and using visual supports and time supports. You help the student understand the day's content, set clear boundaries, and provide support in both schoolwork and social situations. You contribute to a safe school environment by motivating, supporting, and guiding the student through different activities during the day. The assignment also includes being a natural link in daily contact between home and school.
Your Competence
We are looking for someone with a valid upper secondary education and experience working with children and youth. It is positive if you are trained as a childcare worker, student assistant, teaching assistant, or have other relevant education, as well as if you have experience working with students within special education and are familiar with low-arousal approaches.
As a person, you are confident and stable with good self-awareness, and you have the ability to adapt your approach based on the situation. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have an easy time organizing your work. You are flexible, collaborate well with others, and build relationships in a natural and trustworthy way. With your pedagogical insight, you can adapt your working methods to the individual's needs.
