Our School Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) has made a significant difference for our students for over 30 years. IES Staffanstorp is an F–9 school with approximately 600 students and 70 employees. We are a bilingual school that follows the Swedish curriculum. Your Assignment As a student assistant, you work closely with responsible educators and the school's student support team to assist students in need of special support, both in teaching situations and in other parts of the school day. You contribute to the student's social, communicative, and academic development by: - Being an active support in the classroom and in other learning environments. - Creating structure and security in the student's daily routine. - Strengthening students' independence and participation. - Participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational work under the direction of responsible educators. - Collaborating closely with educators, the student support team, guardians, and other staff to create the best possible conditions for the student's development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience working with students in need of special support. Meritorious qualifications include: - Experience with neuropsychiatric conditions and other functional variations. - Experience working in a resource team or special education group. - Experience working in a multicultural school environment. Personal Qualities You are flexible, responsive, and communicative, with a natural ability to build good relationships and establish trust. You enjoy collaboration but can also work independently and take responsibility for planning and organizing your work. You are confident, stable, and professional, with a genuine commitment to students in need of special support.
