Description Unit/Department Welcome to Kullsveds School - a workplace characterized by high well-being, competence, collaboration, development and creativity. We focus on accessibility and inclusive learning environments from a health-promoting and preventive student wellness perspective. The school is located in Hemmesta east of Gustavsberg, approximately 30 minutes by direct bus from Slussen. The school consists of adapted primary school grades 1-9, as well as adapted high school individual programs. For the school year 2026-27, we have approximately 48 students in total, of which 8 students in adapted high school. We also have afterschool programs for grades 1-6 in adapted primary school, as well as KTT leisure. Kullsveds School has around 40 employees, mainly teachers/special educators and support/leisure staff. We have well-developed work with additional accommodations, visual support and digital aids in teaching. The school has a lead teacher, qualified expertise in all practical-aesthetic subjects and a well-functioning student wellness service where all competencies are included. Kullsveds School has high expertise in PBS (Positive Behavior Support) and TBA (Applied Behavior Analysis). Your Assignment The assignment as support/student assistant involves serving as support in small classes with instruction of individual students or in groups according to the responsible teacher's instructions. There may also be a need for substitute support staff in afterschool programs or KTT leisure before/after school hours and during breaks. Your Experience We are looking for you with experience working with students with extensive need for special support. You need to have experience with low-arousal responses and meeting different types of challenging behaviors. Basic education for children/youth is desirable, for example childcare worker, leisure leader or similar. It is meritorious to have experience working with students in adapted primary school and adapted high school. Your Personal Qualities As a person, you are inclusive with a low-arousal approach. You have commitment and solution focus and work for a good work environment for students as well as your colleagues. We place great importance on social competencies and personal suitability. The employments are hourly positions based on needs where the employee can accept or decline shorter or longer substitute work during the 2026-27 school year. For this position, presentation of a valid extract from the police's criminal record register is a requirement for employment.
