Hansåkerskolan is located in the center of Stugun's community. About 230 students in grades F-9 attend here. About 30 teachers and support staff work at the school. The school is organized into three work teams: After-School Care, Grades F-6, and Grades 7-9. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are now seeking a Student Assistant for Hansåkerskolan in Stugun. You will provide support to individual students who need resources throughout the school day and at the after-school program. You will become part of a dedicated work team where you together find solutions and create opportunities for students' development. Examples of job duties: • take responsibility for supporting students based on individually developed goals and plans • assist students with special needs so they can participate in school instruction • interact with students, guardians, teachers, and other school staff • address situations that arise in a safe manner • support students' social development and education • follow applicable laws, policies, and procedures in the operation • participate in planning for the after-school program About you: You take great personal responsibility in your role and can work independently. You are a secure adult and a good role model, with the ability to connect with students. You see each individual and create a safe environment at school and cooperate with others to reach set goals. As a person, you are flexible, clear, and structured. You enjoy working with children who need special support as you are a very important part of their school day. You have good collaboration skills, are attentive, and communicate and cooperate easily with students and other important professionals for this target group. You have good ability to cooperate and have a professional approach toward children, relatives, and other people around the students. You are engaged and willing to share our values and work toward set goals as well as continuous improvement. We place great importance on personal suitability. This position is a fixed-term appointment from 2026-08-10 to 2027-08-06. QUALIFICATIONS Student Assistant training or other education directed toward school activities is required. To work in school operations, you must provide an excerpt from the Criminal Records Register § 22. Previous experience working as a Student Assistant is meritorious. As well as experience working with children with special needs. It is also meritorious if you have training in the NPF field.
