About Prison Island
Prison Island is an indoor adventure destination for everyone between 8 and 99 years old. It's about teamwork and collaboration to solve tricky cell challenges and earn points. Today there are 118 Prison Island facilities in 25 countries and we continue to grow. During 2026, we plan to build around 30 new facilities around the world.
About the Role
As an electronics developer, you will have a key role in developing Prison Island's technical platform and future gaming experiences. You are responsible for developing robust and scalable electronic solutions used in our facilities worldwide. The role encompasses the entire development chain, from idea, prototype and testing to finished product in operation. You will work closely with game developers, mechanical engineers, installers and external manufacturing partners to ensure that solutions are reliable, cost-effective and easy to install and maintain.
In the role, you will, among other things:
Develop electronic solutions, circuit boards (PCB) and embedded systems for new and existing products.
Work with sensors, actuators, microcontrollers and communication solutions.
Create prototypes, conduct tests and ensure high reliability in real-world environments.
Collaborate with external manufacturers and production partners regarding component selection and mass production.
Contribute to the development of new gaming concepts and technical solutions together with the rest of the development team.

Qualifications
Higher education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Experience in electronics development, prototype creation and mass-produced products.
Knowledge of sensors, signal handling and cable sizing
Experience with embedded systems or embedded software
Familiarity with schematics, documentation and technical drawings
Merits
Experience in PCB design
Knowledge of power supplies and communication buses
Experience with microcontrollers, control systems and LED lighting
Experience with contact with manufacturers or electronics producers
